• Meet Us At The Mall!

We are delighted to let you know that the herd will be munching blackberries, broom and weeds on a slope at Woodgrove Mall in Nanaimo, starting Tuesday, May 20. We plan to be there for five days. Check us out near the Avalon Cinemas, and come by and say hi.

  • Munching around Nanaimo

The herd just got back from a successful demonstration in Nanaimo for Invasive Plant Awareness Month, where they eagerly tackled mountains of blackberries and some english ivy and scotch broom. Lots of media attended including representatives of CTV, CHEK, 91.7 Coast FM, Nanaimo Daily News, Nanaimo News Bulletin, and Nanaimo Info Network. Many bystanders remarked that this was such a great idea and so environmentally aware. Lots of kids from nearby schools stopped and asked questions. The goats charmed everyone as usual and worked very hard to get the job done in two days. Here is the press release from Nanaimo City Hall

  • Goats @ Work

We will be at Bowen Park in Nanaimo for a couple of days starting today, where the herd will be happily munching on blackberry plants. If you are in the area drop by and meet the Workers.
