• go! Island Feature

We are excited to be featured on Shaw TV’s community show go! Island, which airs locally on Vancouver Island. Allan was interviewed recently by Annette Lucas at a residential job that we were working on. Our client, Nancy, was happy with the work and the goats were of course happy to have such a great variety of foliage to consume; they look pretty contented on camera and not nervous at all. When a video becomes available we will post it on this webpage. It’s really great to get this publicity. Thanks Annette and Shaw!

  • Blackberries Begone

IMG_1161We recently cleared an area of overgrown blackberries at a residence near Nanaimo. The homeowners had done a great job of removing Scotch Broom from a large area of their property, and the native plants and grasses returned. They had removed a large amount of blackberries as well, but thought that they might give the goats a try. The herd got to work and over a couple of days munched their way through blackberries, salmonberries and thistles. The residents were happy and so were the goats! Alex’s debut was stellar, and he is a welcome addition to the crew.
